Biography: Paul Burke - Southeast Sales

Paul's father was an engineering professor, who led him into a life-long interest in science and real-world applications. He earned a degree in Industrial Distribution and a minor in Chemical Engineering. Today he continues to be active in a number of professional associations and continuing education technical courses.

Paul's first job was engineering of hermetic sealed products, which transitioned into applications engineering, sales, and marketing of a wide range of vacuum technologies. Ranging from systems to components, always focused on finding the optimum technical and economic solution for the customer. He has worked many years with national labs, semi-fabs, universities, and industrial vacuum users throughout the Southeast region. He also owned and ran a management consulting business which focused on vacuum related clients (strategic business plans, marketing & sales plans, etc.)

Reared and educated in the northeast, he soon fell for the call of warm weather and relocated to Florida. The only drawback is he has a special lawn service to mow the back yard due to the resident alligators. He lives in Edgewood, FL with wife Heidi. Personal interests include flying (instrument rated pilot), skiing, and photography.
